Air cargo industry rallies to help 莫桑比克 following Cyclone Idai

Just a couple of weeks ago, Cyclone Idai swept through 莫桑比克, 马拉维 and 津巴布韦. It left at least 700 people dead and three million people in need of humanitarian assistance. 包机服务 has worked tirelessly since then in conjunction with various aid agencies and governments, 在各种货物中飞行, 包括霍乱疫苗, 水疗法, 蚊帐和防水油布.

丹Morgan-Evans, ACS集团货运总监, said: “We even had one flight that was transporting an entire field hospital to the region, including X-ray machines and 4x4 vehicles. In total so far we have chartered aircraft for just over 480 tons of equipment, 在各种飞机上, ranging from Antonov 12s and Ilyushin 76s, to Boeing 747-400s and Boeing 777s, with more to come in the next few days.
